Introduction

Community Construction, Inc., a Louisiana Corporation, is based in Houma, LA with its principal base of operations located on a two-acre site outside Houma's city limits at 277 South Hollywood Road. CCI also operates two additional offices, one near Laurel, MS and the other outside of Montgomery, AL. Erosion Control
Our customers have adopted "CCI" as a brief way to refer to our corporation and this acronym is being encouraged.
In its determined effort to survive the economically depressed years of the oil and gas industry, CCI seized upon the opportunity to broaden its areas of expertise in the construction industry by challenging its employees to master new skills. From this bold effort, CCI has emerged as a diversified and skilled organization that is capable of meeting the many needs of its customers and assisting them in the successful completion of their projects. This has allowed CCI to take on the distinction of a "full service" pipeline contractor. Pipeline Maintenance
This diversification has also enabled CCI's employees to perform a large majority of the work on our projects. Due to these multi-talented employees, subcontractors are rarely utilized, allowing CCI to have greater control over the quality and cost of each project.
Along with the drug-testing program required by the Department of Transportation, CCI has in place an aggressive safety program. Some areas which employees are trained in are Excavation Safety, First Aid, and hazardous material management (Hazwoper). Included in the insurance policies is a general liability policy and an automobile policy with coverage limits to three million dollars as well as Workmen's Compensation Insurance on all employees and subcontractors. CCI currently holds an EMR of .92 for the insurance year 1999-2000.
